The argument against preferential treatment is easily made. Under no circumstances is discrimination acceptable in a well-tempered society, to suggest otherwise would allow for the most heinous prejudice, bias, and bigotry, a trio of destructors, mar any hope of a fair and equal form of government.

Yet still people bemoan about their lack of preeminence, the little recognition of them being a special case, an exception to the rule, somehow excused from any moral or ethical reasoning to follow the norm, exceptional, singular.

So is autocratic rule founded, but localized fascism by a less recognizable name.
