How soon the body and mind adapt to differing circumstances. Already I am wholly accepting of my new reality, the ongoing dumbness, inability to swallow, being unable to eat and drink in the accustomed very human fashion.
Should these skills resurface I am certain the uptake will be just as swift and immediate. The human spirit is endlessly pliant.
