It is one of my great joys meet a wide a spectrum of peoples that I can, especially in regard to their attitudes to their place in life’s grand scheme. Most, happily, seem quite content with their lot, fulfilling duties with a smile and a wave.
The most dissatisfied tend to be the locals, those who should have the strongest roots, and yet they seem strangely dissatisfied with their lot as if belonging gives carte blanche to be a limpet on the newcomer.
