30th July 2020

Rainfall soft against my skin
Cleansing quick my anguished soul,
Washing fast the stain of sin
Till none is left to see at all.

Summer showers are welcomed here
Where vibrant green pervades each view,
Drawing forth with sweet embrace
The fruits ensuring life anew.

Shoot to sapling, growing fast
Climbing to the welcoming skies,
Thrusting forth their bud and leaf
Beauteous sight to please the eye.

And in time to fall to ground
Making room for future seed,
Ever doth the wheel compound
As nature changes, as must be.
