A twinkling light far out in space
That tells of Venus' constant grace,
A shooting star that flits above
Foretelling truths and future loves.

Oh, how we do forget the joys
And wonders that on earth abound,
Like prancing deer at near twilight
Searching out safe resting grounds.

Planets, moon, each twinkling star
Spread aloft in glorious flight,
Purposely to light our path
With joyous presence day and night.

Every happenstance will bring
Further song our soul to sing,
Chorus drawn from every voice
To make the very bedrock ring.
